Back-Log of Minis to Paint
When I just started this hobby of miniature wargaming, I often heard of people referring to their “back-log” of unpainted and/or unassembled miniatures. That always struck me as strange, as I thought “Why would they buy all those stuff unless they’re planning to use them right away? That’s just plain crazy.”
Yeah, right.
Now that I’m half a year into the hobby, I’m discovering that the same thing’s happening to me.
In all of my 6 months, I’ve only managed to paint 2 Ork Boyz and 5 Tactical Space Marines (both of them from the Warhammer 40K Assault on Black Reach starter set).
And what do I have on my back-log?
Literally dozens of 28mm figures (and a couple of vehicles) for Warhammer 40K, and hundreds of 15mm figures (and a handful of vehicles) for Flames of War.
That should keep me busy for the rest of 2009, at least!
